At its meeting on 4 April 2016 Tutanekai-Hinemoa Chapter welcomed a new Overseas Representative, congratulated two Jubilee Memorial Scholars, and presented a new ceremony—the Pathway Ceremony for Craft Masons who are interested in the Order of the Royal Arch.

After the Chapter was closed, with Companions remaining dressed in their regalia, several Craft Masons were introduced to the Order by participating in a new ceremony, The Pathway. Conducted by Grand Director of Ceremonies, Ken Burt, the participants passed through the veils used in the Excellent Master Degree in a specially designed and written ceremony. The ceremony was narrated by Graham Redman PGLec and Geoff Coker presented a short history of the Order.

Warwick Bell, Director of Ceremony for the Chapter, introduced Jake Church and Zac Johnston who received Jubilee Memorial Scholarships. They were presented with their awards and cheques by Ken McQueen.
