Established in 1942 to mark its Jubilee, the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of New Zealand annually awards “ Jubilee Memorial Scholarships”  to outstanding young achievers.

Funded entirely by nationwide voluntary contributions from Royal Arch masons, the annual awards totaling in excess of $20.000 are made to students studying at technical or tertiary educational establishments within New Zealand.

There are no limitations as to applicant suitability – scholarships are made for the purpose of providing a technical education, professional or vocational training or to continue such a Course already commenced.

Scholarships are awarded annually and may be renewed, subsequent to a further application, for a period of one year. The value of each scholarship is determined by The Scholarship Council which also has the authority to award special prizes to the most outstanding applicants.
