The Freemasons Charity Paramedicine Scholarships
A new initiative designed to support students pursuing a qualification to become a Paramedic. This scholarship is available to those studying either on-campus or via distance learning at Whitireia/WelTec.
Value:Â Up to $5,000
Number Available:  Up to 10 scholarships. The program aims to ensure representation across the Southern Division, with at least one recipient intended from each district.
One $5,000 Scholarship may be awarded to students studying on-campus or two scholarships of $2,500 each may be awarded to Students studying by distance learning.

Heartland Bank Freemason Scholarships
The Heartland Bank Freemasons Scholarships are provided annually by Heartland Bank under the auspices of Freemasons New Zealand and are administered by The Freemasons Charity.

Duration:Â One year's duration
Number available:Â Three awards
Applications open:Â 1 November 2025 (midnight start of day)
Closing date:Â 2 February 2026 (midnight end of day)
These scholarships are to assist family members of Freemasons, who are current Year 13 students and are active in their communities. This year, three Scholarships of $6,000.00 each will be available, one per Division of Freemasons New Zealand. The Divisions are geographical - Northern, Central and Southern.
