Powering Potential – a major programme for youth science.

Freemasons New Zealand has had a long association with the Royal Society of New Zealand indeed Freemasonry has has an intimate connection with the Royal Society in the UK for nearly 300 years with many members being Freemasons as well.

In mid December 2020, 40 selected High School Science Students from throughout New Zealand came together in Wellington for a few days with scientific peers to work on major world challenges that effect New Zealand and make presentations on the final day, based on their initial research.

Freemasons New Zealand has been supporting Powering Potential for the last six year as a principal sponsor, thanks to The Freemasons Charity.
