Season’s Greetings from Grand Master

Greetings

It was pleasing to note that new members are up 17% on last year and we are doing much better at retaining our membership by 29% and this speaks well to everyone working hard on ‘Speak Up’. This needs to continue well into the future – with Freemasons talking to members of the public every day about being a Freemason, their experience as a Freemason and what Freemasonry is doing in New Zealand.

Our Strategic Plan for 2019-2023 will continue to incorporate ‘Speak Up’ as a core strand when it comes out next after taking on-board all the excellent survey feedback we received.

Our 2018 masonic year is at an end and we now get a well-deserved rest with family and friends and I trust you have an enjoyable festive season, happy new year and safe and relaxing summer holiday.

I am positive that we will all be up for the challenge of the 2019 masonic year, which includes the Grand Installation, and building on the success of ‘Speak Up’.

Mark Winger

Grand Master
