Benevolence and Almoning

Our Lodges have a history of supporting the well-being of individuals and the community through relief of need and projects that enhance local communities.

The Freemasons Charity supports Lodges and Districts to undertake projects in their local communities that meet the vision and outcomes of the charity.  If you or your community group has a project or need that meets our criteria, please contact charityadmin@freemasonsnz.org in the first instance.

Individual Assistance Grants

You may be eligible for an individual grant to assist with health and well-being.  These are one-off grants supporting medical and healthcare costs where individuals have an immediate need.  Please contact the Secretary or Almoner of a local lodge to enquire about potential support.
