2025 Grand Installation

This is being held from 24 to 26 October 2025 (Labour Weekend) in Christchurch.

It will see the Business Session of the Grand Lodge and the Grand Installation of the new Grand Master and his Officers of the Grand Lodge.

Venues include the James Hay Theatre at the Christchurch Town Hall, Te Pae Convention Centre and Crowne Plaza as the preferred hotel.

Freemasons and Partners are welcome to attend most of the events –

Friday 24th October – Grand Communication (NZ Freemasons only – Business Session), Partners Function and Meet and Greet

Saturday 25th October – Grand Installation and Grand Banquet

Sunday 26th October – Free Day for exploring the wonders of Christchurch

Accommodation

Crowne Plaza is our preferred hotel (as very close to both venues Christchurch Town Hall and Te Pae Conference Centre) or you can choose your own accommodation in Christchurch.

The rates are based on a stay between 23 – 27 Oct

$299 per night for 1 standard king room

$329 per night for 1 city view high floor room

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancelling your reservation before 6:00 PM (local hotel time) on Thursday, 23 October, 2025 will result in no charge.

Cancelling your reservation between 6:00 PM (local hotel time) on 23 October, 2025 and 6:00 PM (local hotel time) on 23 October, 2025 will result in a charge for the first night per room to your credit card or other guaranteed payment method.

No deposit required – a credit card will be used as a guarantee.
